LEAGUE at AT&T Foundation to Award College Scholarships
Bedminster, NJ - For the 7th year in a row LEAGUE at AT&T Foundation to
award its annual academic scholarships.
Applications are currently being accepted through April 19, 2003.
Applicants should graduate high school in 2003; identify themselves as
lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender; have achieved a cumulative grade
point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; are actively and
substantially involved in community service; live in the United States;
and have been accepted to attend an accredited college or university in
the United States.
Scholarships currently open for application are the Matthew Shepard
Memorial Scholarship (name used with permission of the Shepard family),
named for the Wyoming college student murdered in 1998 for his sexual
orientation, and the LEAGUE at AT&T Foundation Scholarship.
