CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:

LESBIAN AND GAY ISSUES IN TEACHER EDUCATION

Although teacher education programs have begun to teach teachers how to create classrooms free of racism, sexism, able-ism and classism, little has been done integrate preparation for sexual diversity into the teacher education curriculum. This anthology will explore the place of lesbian and gay issues in pre-service teacher education, working from the assumption that education for sexual diversity is as important as education about all other forms of difference, and that it must begin with the preparation of the teachers who will lead the schools of the future.

Contributions are invited to address any of the issues raised by this subject. Possible topics include:
