Dear Safe Schools members and friends ...
Radio interviews
Coalition member Linda Baker (PFLAG Seattle) was recently interviewed by Esther "Little Dove" John, talking about the Safe Schools Coalition. The interview will air:
Sept 3rd on 98.9FM at 6 am AND on 11.50AM at 7am.
Linda says, "Dove was very easy to be with." The interview opens with a song by Steve Schalchlin (who will be featured at the 9/16 benefit concert). Linda describes the experience:"[The song was] something like 'Why does it take 5 big guys to beat up one little queer' - i just about cried, actually I did. So, that lent to emotion in the interview. She was happy enough to invite me back to talk about PFLAG."
