Dear Safe Schools Coalition members and friends,
Folks seeking your help:
From GLSEN, survey about school groups that promote the acceptance of persons who are LBGT
Dear friends of GSAs,
We would like to invite you to take part in a web survey of allies groups being conducted by GLSEN New York Capital Region and two college professors. We are interested in learning about groups at middle schools, high schools, and/or colleges that promote the acceptance of persons who are LBGT. Our results will be used to promote awareness of allies groups. In order to get valid results we need your open and honest responses. Respondents must be at least 18 years old or older to participate in the survey. The estimated time to complete the web survey is approximately 20-30 minutes, and we are hoping to get all responses by April 15, 2001. Your
responses will be anonymous and kept in strict confidence, and of course your participation is voluntary. By completing the survey you are consenting to participate.
The following link will take you to the survey.

Thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to complete the web survey. We will post a summary of the results on the web and notify you via e-mail when this is available. Please do not pass this letter on to others who are not involved with allies groups.
Sincerely,
Dr. Kathy Voegtle, Associate Professor, Educational Psychology,
Voegtlek@mail.strose.edu
Dr. Jelane A. Kennedy, Assistant Professor, Counselor Education,
