General Information
The Colin Higgins Foundation salutes, celebrates and fosters courage by awarding $10,000 grants to three individuals who are either:

• Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning Youth that have "bravely stood up to hostility and intolerance" based on their sexual orientation and triumphed over bigotry.

• Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Adults who have made strong impact in the lives of LGBTQ youth or the overall LGBTQ movement.

• Allies of any age working to end homophobia and discrimination

What is the Colin Higgins Foundation?
Colin Higgins, screenwriter, director and producer, established the Colin Higgins Foundation in 1986. Mr. Higgins, who is remembered for his remarkable human comedies, including Harold And Maude, Silver Streak, Foul Play and Nine To Five, created the Foundation in order to further his humanitarian goals.
