GET TRUTH BEFORE JUDGING

The Gay/Straight Alliance is an opportunity to communicate with those who have chosen an alternative lifestyle. Perhaps they are afraid of the opposite sex (gay) or been abused mentally, sexually or physically. Or they may have found the love and attention they sought from another (gay or straight). Some are in the process of making a decision. They are all joining a group in search of something or other.

I ask that Chery Trojovsky (letters, Nov 29) not quote the Bible as a source to justify her position. Freedom of sexual orientation is condemned in the Bible ... a man sleeping with another man as a man would a woman is a sin. The Bible does not permit the absence of judgment or morals.

Half truths lead us astray. Search out the truth before judging. You may miss your final opportunity to communicate with your sins of daughters.
