Director of Public Policy job announcement (due April 16)

DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC POLICY. The National Youth Advocacy Coalition is hiring a full-time, senior-level position responsible for launching the organization's new policy initiative. Demonstrated public policy experience (youth and/or LGBT experience preferred), exceptional written and verbal communications skills, and a strong commitment to social justice and grassroots multi-issue organizing. Applicants must be committed to working in an anti-racist environment and with and for LGBT youth. Applicants should send a cover letter, resume, and writing sample by April 16th to:NYAC, PPD Review, 1638 R Street, NW, Suite 300, Washington, DC 20009. No calls. People of color, transgender people, women, and young people are strongly encouraged to apply.

Demonstrated health promotion and education experience (youth and/or LesBiGayTrans experience preferred), exceptional communications skills, training skills, and a strong commitment to social justice and harm reduction. Applicants must be committed to working with and for LesBiGayTrans youth in an anti-racist environment. MPH preferred.
