Subject: IA: Good News in Des Moines School Bd. elections
On a brighter note, school board elections were held in Des Moines,
Iowa, today [sept. 10] and the three candidates I voted for were elected! All three support Des Moines Public Schools' non-discrimination policy,
which includes sexual orientation. I got that information from a voter guide prepared by the Interfaith Alliance of Iowa. I wonder where the Alliance got the idea of voters' guides? <G>
