Regarding the below letter about the successful
resolution of an issue about a Gay/Straight Alliance,
The P.E.R.S.O.N. Project urges readers to write to
the school and the District to support formulation
of written policy permanently recognizing the
right of clubs such as GSAs to meet on school property.

LETTERS: APPLAUSE ALL AROUND VALLEY
I applaud the students of Valley High for their courage and perseverance in supporting the Gay/Straight Alliance in this time filled with homophobic hatred and harassment ("Students United in Support of Gays," Nov. 1).
I applaud the Valley High administration for realizing their mistake and once again allowing "unofficial" organizations their rightful recognition ("Valley Backs Off on Clubs," Nov. 4).
I applaud Adam Wells for expressing his Christian beliefs and yet respecting the rights of others with ideas and beliefs contrary to his own ("Equal Treatment" letter to the editor, Nov. 9).
Maybe there is hope that we will one day live in this world of diversity and turly be able to show respect for all.
