Editorial: Let's talk straight:how does it come about that kids know all there is to know of gay lifestyles before they're hardly out of diapers?
A new-style club has been formed in some schools in the United States that is not only being sanctioned, but is enough of a societal anomaly to warrant closer inspection. The clubs are part of a loosely-nationalized network called The Gay-Straight Alliance and, at present, there does not appear to be any functioning in the St. Tammany Parish School system.
When questioned about the existence of the schools in the area, School Board spokesperson Linda Roan said that to her knowledge no such Gay-Straight Alliance club had been formed here.
"If there had been," she said, "I would have heard about it."
Other schools have certainly heard about it. And, despite what traditionalists might have thought, the kids are wildly in favor of gay-straight alliances and have told national publications like Time and Newsweek they do.
What are gay-straight alliances and why might they be potentially harmful to impressionable teenagers?
Basically, the clubs are attempts by delusioned teens to fuse gay and heterosexual lifestyles and mind-sets - if such a thing was possible. The only thing that will be spawned out of such a heretical alliance is the sinister proselytizing of straight kids. To put it plainly, gays exist not to further the existence of mankind, but to promote the damnable offense of sodomy. And parents should make no mistake about it: straights do not proselytize, gays do. And their primary mission in life is to proselytize youth. They have no other conceivable way of continuing what they think of as the human race unless by in vitro impregnation.
It's clear then that gays eagerly seek acceptance of their so-called gay-straight alliances in the hopes they can recruit border-line homosexuals to their ranks. There is no acceptable proof that the act of being gay is an inherited tract [trait?]. In fact, just the opposite is true and the evidence is irrefutable that many border-line straights slipped the traces through carnal emulation.
Gays are certain to accept this piece as another example of gay-bashing. It is neither that, nor is it a herterosexual obsession.
It is a straight-forward exploration into the shadowy world of ruby fruit where an insidious movement is afoot to give more and more credence to the status of being gay. And the creation of specious gay-straight alliances is nothing more than a further step forward by the proselytizers.
An effort should be made by moralists - and we certainly mean parents who care about the traditional virtues in life - to communicate more fully with their children. Being gay is a biblically inexcusable affront to both Christianity and God's invective[?]: be fruitful and multiply.
Gays are content to multiply not through normal standards but through the questionable and, sometimes, unorthodox, channels of in vitro. This is what they believe in; this is what they preach. So do lesbians. If such abominable practices are allowed to co-exist in our society - and be taught to our children through the dark machinations of outfits like the gay-straight alliances-society is in danger of seducing itself into non-existence.
Gays-and there may be such alliances in the schools in St. Tammany Parish; they don't make themselves that well known-gays do not multiply. They seek to banish a straight society and replenish it with their own ilk - loathsome creatures grown in test tubes. And worse: as technology advances (some would say retreats) the spectral image of clones might one day rule out two genders altogether.
